Oh as much as it pains me to share it ..everyone should know about this little gem of a place in Dublin's city centre!
I stumbled across it one day ambling through the side streets in Dublin City, temple bar to be precise, it was a few years ago but on entering this shop I felt I'd found Aladdin's cave!
Siopaella has long been a mecca for lovers of vintage, and you will not be disappointed. Owner Ella De Guzmans passion for recycled clothes and her observation on the lack of consignment stores in Ireland prompted her to open one.
The thing you need to know about Siopaella is its Irelands largest store specialising in none other than pre owned luxury fashion names which include Brands from Chanel, Mulberry, Louis Vuitton, Louboutin's, Victoria Beckham..(breathe) from Topshop to other major designer Collections!
Prepare to swoon my lovelies!
Siopaella currently have two locations, the quirky and laid back Crow Street which carries mainly highstreet from French Connection, Amerial Apparel, Topshop, Karen Millen, COS, to name a few..and then Temple Lane stores, which stocks most of the luxury labels from Chanel, Chloe, Prada, Alexandra McQueen.
Shopping with Siopaella is definitely a unique experience with unexpected finds, I have to say I have found some amazing pieces there. And don't worry girls if you don't live near Dublin, they have a facebook page https://www.facebook.com/siopaella,(which may kill your bank account with frequent updates) and I have ordered through facebook and over the phone. All of the girls I have dealt with Ella, Ciara and Tanya, have all been so helpful on every purchase, and just lovely girls to deal with. Delivery is so quick you'll have it by two days, if not sooner and the packaging is lovely.
The condition of the clothes, bags and shoes are excellent and gently used as they describe, the beauty of siopaella is they don't accept any old condition, their stuff is top quality.
(Chanel Pearls are sold but these two scarfs are still available)
So not only do they sell all these lovely items, they also buy, ..they will sell your clothes for you, and you both take a share in the proceeds, ....what's not to like?!
They do have a wish list too of what their looking for,and you can check this out on their website above.
Prices do vary girls, depending on the label obviously, you could pick up a white ralph lauren shirt for €29 to a Louis Vuitton Messenger bag for €799, it all varies and depends on your lust for labels :-) ..but I can guarantee that you will most certainly get a bargain!!
