Winter chill!

Happy October, its already a week in.. eek how did that happen?

With October brings a chill in the air and I'm most definitely feeling it this week! 

After imagining my roof was going to take flight, with that storm the other night, it got me thinking,

I definitely need to weather the storm in the fashion stakes but at the same time look stylish too!

So onto my next post....The Winter Coat!!

This season seems to be more about warmth and casual chic, which makes a nice change from last seasons. Oversize/boyfriend coats are popular but in my opinion I prefer the more fitted coats on me, the oversize coat tends to make people think I'm wearing my granddads coat, oh and I'm ten years old, and 3ft tall, not a good look!

Spending money on a good coat is always worth it mainly as they'll last a lifetime. Tailored coats are in this season too (lucky for me), a good tailored coat will never go out of fashion. Of course you have your casual coat for that weekend stroll, school run or whatever you girls get up to on your casual days and the macs, parkas, duffel coats seem to be hanging around albeit with a slightly different tweek to them, fur collars, and part leather.

Whatever the coat, I believe invest your money in a good one and preferably a neutral colour as it will last years!

The Camel Coat (big last season and seems to be sticking around) I don't know what it is lately but I am seriously on the hunt for a nice camel coat (I know I know I have a few coats already but they're not camel, and needs must!)

The Grey Coat - grey is a big colour this season and seems to be in all the stores at the moment, so feast your eyes on these ones!

At Cork fashion week I spotted this one from Aidan Sheehan an Irish Fashion Designer,(https://www.facebook.com/aidan.sheehan) this is a wool mix cape and its one of 5, for £60, it can be all yours, I think its beautiful and at a great price too for a designer handmade piece.
