For me Christmas was all about drinking copious amounts of alcohol (not the better of it..and seriously hangovers and toddlers is definitely not a good combo!) not to mention eating unimaginable amounts of chocolates/bikkies etc. I can safely say I need to be rolled to the gym next week!
Needless to say it was a great Christmas and a nice break.spent having lovely family time together, had loads of lazy days, caught up with friends, got lovely surprises and we managed to cook a lovely Christmas dinner without poisoning the in laws..(actually credit to the hubby)
New Year's Eve was spent with my lovely sister and her family pigging out on Indian foods and drinking wine and champagne ..as if we hadn't enough drank...
New Year's Eve I find makes you reflect on the year gone past and those resolutions you need to make, this year I'm setting realistic ones. (Now where have I heard that before?)
So here we go, spend more time with loved ones particularly this year, enjoy the little things and people in my life, be thankful for good health, try not to abuse the body as much with the alcohol, I won't say give it up because that's just laughable for me (I sound like an alcoholic I'm not really but love a glass of wine!!) anyway my resolution is to cut down on it, eat healthier, continue the gym on a regular basis, with the odd run thrown in, do more blogging and generally be happy, positive and a better person 😀
So there you have it, it ll be interesting to see this in 12 months time...
