About That dress... & The Ivory Closet

So ladies about that dress...well as you know I had my beautiful cousins wedding at the weekend she looked amazing..and as much as I would love to show you a picture it's not my place, she was a beautiful bride xx it was a fabulous day and we definitely celebrated ..family weddings are great...

I have lots of dresses but this one I couldn't resist..

This beauty is by Alex Perry (an Australian designer) and it came from The Ivory closet dress hire in limerick, thank you girls this dress was amazing xx I have dealt with Aoife and Sheila on numerous occassions and they have been the most helpful, with their advise on sizing, styles and colours of the dresses, to their fast and efficient delivery. This dress was so comfy girls and I had plenty of room to breathe after stuffing myself with our yummy dinner!

I paired it with this bag above from warehouse (comes in nude and black) and is available instore and online here for €25, although it was reduced lately, the shoes are from Asos for €34.25 and available here

The amount of compliments I received on the dress during the day was unreal, if I had a €10 for every time it was mentioned I'd be rich 😂 

For you ladies who want A wow dress, I cannot recommend the ivory closet enough, I have been lusting over their dresses for the last few years. It's the only time I'll ever be able to afford to wear a designer dress, without forking out a price tag of €800 -€1000. They hire designer dresses at €80-€120 for three days and it's so worth it...if you think about it, how much money have you forked out on a dress for a wedding to only wear it once, and leave it hanging in the wardrobe never to be worn again?

Twice yearly they have sales and I live for them ha ..I bought a couple of dresses in the sales and they have been perfect and my most covet items in my wardrobe.

Obviously a dress is not complete with out some coverage for the cold winter nights, so if you can avoid it girls try not to wear something that doesn't compliment the dress, pop on a fur collar over your dress, short fur coat (if you want a longer coat go for ankle length as mid length detracts from your overall look) or a cape if you don't like fur
