Autumn looks... Part Two

 So as promised here's part two of the Autumn looks. I've added a few more dresses and skirts in too as the last post was mainly Trousers :-) There are countless of trends for this upcoming Autumn/ winter 2015 season. This includes: double breasted jackets, quilted jackets, folk patchwork, the all leather look, metallics, the 80’s, leopard print, red and victorian influences. Burgundy is pretty much the hottest colour of the season at the moment. Its everywhere and there's some beautiful pieces out there' The main colours coming through are Black, Burgundy/deep red, and all pastel colours – pink, light blue, lilac – greys, orange and teal/green are just some of the shades that will brighten up our winter wardrobe. Layering is huge this year and what better season to do it in during Autumn and Winter..so layer up! Autumn looks.. Part One

Hey Everyone

Hope your week is good...so my previous post was all on scarves, with the leaves falling and a chill in the air, its got me thinking about Winter, and my lack of warm clothes in the wardrobe.

There's an abundance of neutral and warm colours creeping into the highstreets. Burgundy, greys, mustard colours are high on trend at the moment. Fur, check and camel are hanging around, have they ever really disappeared since last year?? Winters coming Grab your scarf!!

So winters coming and what's the perfect accessory and an absolute necessity in your wardrobe but a Scarf!

Not only is it useful for keeping you warm but it can transform any plain outfit!

Like Autumn Winter 2014, the blanket scarf is still hanging around along with fur scarves and there's some fabulous options out there.

Here's one I styled this week, out and about running errands and picking up my pre-schooler!

This is a closer look, its got great colours running through that give you the option to wear it with numerous outfits. This one is Penney's and priced at €9, Penney's have some gorgeous scarves at the moment, so I'd advise you pop in there sooner rather than later.

Weekend wear for Autumn/Winter

Hey Ladies

Happy weekend...I love weekends don't you?? Where do I begin? ah yes..lazy lie in (ok who am I kidding with two rugrats!!) but yeah back to weekends, lazy lie in's..pj's thrown on for a Friday night in..bottle of wine in hand. I mean glass ..sorry!!

There are many 70's inspired trends gracing the catwalk for Autumn/Winter 2015, but without a doubt the biggest one is suede. Suede dresses, jackets, and skirts were spotted all over the runways. I love this trend because not only is it versatile from the office to nights out, but it makes the garment unique and its long lasting, carrying you well into the next few seasons. It's really warm, I kid you not, and god knows we need warmth in winter. When I say suede, I'm not talking about the hippie chick, its actually quiet smart, sexy even. Its fringed, its pastel colours, its been mixed with denim (my favourite way of styling suede pieces is adding some denim) and leather with suede is everywhere. Here's some inspo for you lovely ladies..mark my words, you'll be flouncing about in one piece of suede some time this season
