Afternoon Tea Darling ..what to wear?

So a few events have crept up on me quiet quickly, one being late lunch with my gorgeous girlfriends here in Cork on Saturday, and afternoon tea with my favourite Cloggers (Cork Bloggers & Surrounding areas!) on Sunday. Seriously its feast or famine with me when it comes to events or a get together! I ain't complaining!

I'm very excited to say the least, as not only do we get to dress up but I'll get to catch up with some really good friends....It always boils down to one thing though..what to wear? Seriously, I fret about these kind of things (First world problems and all that!) You'd swear I was having afternoon tea with the Queen herself, although that wouldn't surprise me with the Cloggers ;-)

So on that note I pulled together some looks one might wear to afternoon tea..I know its more formal in England, in bigger hotels in London like the Ritz etc, but I think its less formal when you're doing it with friends here in Ireland..Never the less afternoon tea is the perfect excuse to get dressed up but keep it fun & relaxed too..so on that note here's my suggestions...all I need now is a bank account full of cash so that I can buy something to wear below!! Partywear Part 2.. Christmas is coming

 Ok ladies, I did promise more looks for the party season coming...and its coming fast!! Im totally unorganised!

So ladies, let’s sort out our priorities and start thinking about our party options! ;) And to make things easy for myself and yourself..I've pulled together more looks for you, that are not dresses (like the last post here) as not everyone wants to wear a dress over the Christmas season..

I've pulled together some separates that are available on the highstreet and locally..In my opinion christmas parties are the best excuse to get over dressed and totally dolled up...or maybe I get less occasions to do this so I'm going hell for leather on this one!!

The best thing about Christmas is you can wear white haha love wearing white at Christmas, love this look too. Pop on a lovely fur coat and your good to go! Lovely leather (the Faux type)

Autumn looks... Part Two

 So as promised here's part two of the Autumn looks. I've added a few more dresses and skirts in too as the last post was mainly Trousers :-) There are countless of trends for this upcoming Autumn/ winter 2015 season. This includes: double breasted jackets, quilted jackets, folk patchwork, the all leather look, metallics, the 80’s, leopard print, red and victorian influences. Burgundy is pretty much the hottest colour of the season at the moment. Its everywhere and there's some beautiful pieces out there' The main colours coming through are Black, Burgundy/deep red, and all pastel colours – pink, light blue, lilac – greys, orange and teal/green are just some of the shades that will brighten up our winter wardrobe. Layering is huge this year and what better season to do it in during Autumn and Winter..so layer up!
