Dungarees... And not for 5 year olds

 Now hear me out on this post ...Dungarees are having their moment, this season. And I was a bit unsure at first....I had visions of a 30 plus something (me) dressed like a 5 year old or more like my own 4 year old!!!..nd this is certainly "not"a look I'm aiming for! When I spotted some black dungarees in New look last week, and These been sported around the streets of London by some extremely stylish ladies, I actually started to think, yes maybe these could work...with a little research and viewing some street styles, I can safely say, yes I'm sold..these black Dungarees look good!! I have come to the realisation, that in order to pull this look off you'll need all of the following; a kickass pair of high heels, narrow shaped leg style dungarees, great accessories and most importantly cover up!!

January.. Back to basics

So ladies I'm back, sorry I took a while but needed time out with my family. Had a lovely break but back to give you lovely ladies so more looks and inspiration. 

With January which is always a bit meh! Definitely a bit more depressing & blue!

I always find after Christmas is over and January kicks in, the last thing I want to do is look at dressy clothes, perhaps the reason for this is for the entire Christmas period I get dressed up for the majority of it, what with parties, get togethers & family outings..

I am sick to death at looking at my "going out" clothes haha and the penny has suddenly dropped that I actually have hardly any nice casual gear. Now when I say casual ..I mean it loosely as in dressy casual, something like a casual jumper but with a dressy skirt/skinny jeans that looks nice but is still cosy and warm.

I'm talking basic pieces that you have in your wardrobes, items you can mix and match together and still look nice.

Basics such as Dark Jeans, Denim shirt, Plain Jumper, plain coat, or A simple dress,

So with this in mind, I've pulled together a few looks to give you lovelies and idea of what you can do with the basic items in your wardrobe!! Now look 2 is a little more dressy but the coat is always a good basic item to have in your wardrobe...my excuse I'm sticking to it!!

Christmas day looks

So when I posted the last few blogs on Christmas party looks, I got a lot of requests to do a Christmas day look...so I said "Why not!".

I,for one, get completely overdressed on Christmas day...that's only because it was always tradition during my childhood we got really dressy new clothes religiously every year for Christmas day!! I'm sure it was the same for all of you, along with having good Sunday clothes which under no circumstances were allowed to be worn mid week! (haha how Irish of us!)

So I have pulled together some looks that I would possibly wear on Christmas day...I've always gone for dresses that you can wear a pair of opaque tights with ..for fear it could snow....now when in gods name in the last decade has it snowed on Christmas day?? delusional I am!!...but you never know right? So here it goes ladies, let me know what you guys wear on Christmas day..I know some of my friends have PJ days which is just as nice...as all we'll be doing is eating eating and drinking..well in my case anyway!

Winter woollies.. Knitwear

Winter Woolies....

Seriously this is really what we're thinking when we hear Autumn/Winter ...admit it ladies ;-)

Who among you truly loves cold weather? I'm not seeing any hands in the air. Or maybe that's because it is so cold your arms have frozen to your sides.When I think of winter I think of finding every piece of clothing I own and layering it onto me. Its ridiculous, I get so bundled up that I end up looking more "snowman" than chic!! Not a good look!!

I feel the cold like no one else! I was picking my little lady up from school the other day and popped a fur scarf over me I was that cold, and stood next to another parent as they wore a t-shirt!! Seriously what's wrong with me???..I don't stand a chance in Winter!!!
