Wedding fever ...calls for Wedding guest outfits

Hope you're all having a super week, so wedding season/fever is upon us and that calls for a panic/frenzy about what to wear!! Even if you don't have a wedding coming up most of you may have a races event..so definitely a nice occasion dress is always a must have in the wardrobe!

Some gorgeous ones out there at the moment and here's a few that caught my eye

Love this bardot floral number, its very flattering too, with the shape of the dress. I've paired it with understated accessories, such as silver heels & clutch as the dress itself has vibrant colours running through it. You can also pair this with a pink one strap sandal (New look has this) and keep the clutch plain silver as pink heels and a pink clutch might be a little over powering! Loving this little number I'm a magpie when it comes to embellishments, this one is Frock and Frill so a little more expensive but I love the layers on it, not only is it suitable for a wedding its perfect for a special night out. I love the playfulness of this little dress, I know you can also buy similar skirts and tops and pair them together but this is an all in one dress, click on the link for a better look as the floral detail on the hem and neckline isnt showing in this picture and its fab. A jumpsuit is always a lovely alternative and because its summer I went with a brighter floral colour this is fab and can certainly be worn to a wedding, click on the link for a better pic its beautiful and if you like to take risks and wear something different, this is definitely one for you, its €67.50 and available here, I've paired it with Rose gold one strap heels which you'll find for €39.44 available here, Envelope bag Dorothy perkins for €24 sold out online but available in store. This Dress is quiet simple and classic, its a great number to have as you can pull any colour from the dress and accessorize it, I paired it with navy heels and a powder blue bag, personally I find matching a coloured bag to same colour heels can be too matchy matchy unless its a neutral colour, but that's just me. Some people prefer not showing their legs and rather long dresses, this one above is lovely and flowy and I love the two tone colours, aren't the heels fab too?? Bardot dresses for less than €20..Ideal for holidays or nights out

I am loving the off the shoulder/bardot style at the moment, and with the good weather lately it was the perfect time to wear them. Please come back sun!!
This dress I spotted a while back in New Look (some might remember me posting it on my facebook page about a month ago) it's an absolutely steal at €19 (Still available instore & online here)

Its super comfy and roomy, doesn't stick to any particular area which is always nice.

The length is great, means you can pair it with heels or flats without it looking too short.

I picked this up for my holidays but find it would be super for a night out too.

The heels, well what can I say about them, these are Penneys from last year but they are doing something similar in a wedge style at the moment. Penneys also have a pom pom type pair which are gorgeous and would definitely go with them. I bought these last year but it's my first time to wear them, I love them paired with this dress. You can find a similar pair here

 
A closer look at the bardot style, it sits nicely across the shoulders and there is an elasticated edge on the top of each sleeve, which prevents the dress from slipping.

I paired it with a Carvela bag my hubbie picked up in Debenhams as part of my Christmas present. (Actually I'm beginning to wonder if he has a thing for bags ha) I love it, as you can use it as a cross body either. Its a great size if your traveling and don't want to bring a large handbag. Definitely going to be packing this dress into my holiday bag to wear with flats or heels for a night out. Its one of those all rounder dresses.

Off the shoulder.. Summer styling

look 4...Still sticking to a night time look (date night/girls night) loving this, its so simple yet stylish! How amazing are those heels with the pop of mustard, love these and they are amazing in person such good quality, you can find them at Zara for €45.95 here, I've paired them with a leather pants but if you are looking to buy any type of leather pants then it should be the freddy pants ...amazing..they are pricey at €119 but in the grand scheme of things they are so so worth it, you can get them here. Look 5 is another look for the summer or while your waiting on this sunny weather to arrive, why not get wear out of this by adding heels and having a night out!! My style my way & my endless affair with Jumpsuits .. Love them!

Can you believe its almost the weekend again..love it! This weekend I'm off gallivanting to London cant wait..while packing I was trying to figure out what to bring. I wanted something I could wear while casually pottering around the streets of London, but would take me from day to night with one quick change from flats to heels.

Straight away I thought of my Jumpsuits! They are perfect for rolling into a "carry on bag" and take up little or no space, so absolutely their coming in my bag..this particular one below is neatly tucked into the suitcase!

I love a good jumpsuit and when I spotted this Utility Khaki one I had to have it! I picked it up from Asos. It's from New look and I nabbed it for less than €24, unfortunately its all sold out but you can find similar ones here, here and here

This cape is my go to jacket, Its from my ultimate favourite boutique Folkster it was a gift from my husband, (this is becoming a bit of a trend these gifts from the hubbie..but he did and I love it) find similar here, here or here.

I love the fact that the legs you can roll up and I will definitely be pairing them with cons too during the summer.

I love any kind of jumpsuit, they are super chic and so so comfy, although lets not mention having to use the toilet, that's where some jumpsuits can get tricky ..still love them though! 

And in the next few weeks I'll pull together a few of my favourite style of Jumpsuits

Culottes.. And how to wear them

Hey my lovelies, 

Hope all of you enjoyed the weekend, wasn't it great to have a nice long one??

We'd great fun despite the weather...consumed copious amounts of easter eggs!! 

I don't know about you guys but I am loving the culottes at the moment...bear with me though, as the first time I spied them in the stores before christmas, my first reaction was hell no!! Whose going to wear them? Fast forward to March, and I've answered my own question, I'm wearing them!

I love mine, I bought a fab khaki/beige pair in Zara and they are the most comfortable pair, nice and warm and look great with a pair of heels and jumper/top.

Now I know Culottes are not for everyone..cue my sister's sniggers when I bought a pair..in her words " Ive been transported back to my 20's!" but when she saw me wearing them she seemed to change her mind!!

I've pulled together some looks for you and ideas on how to style them...

With Culottes the idea is to keep it simple, wear an oversize jumper or simple tops

Shirt dresses... Dressy or casual looks for any occasion

So its that season again and its spring/summer and in between seasons, and what better reason to wear a shirt dress. Its versatile and easy to dress up or down, throw on opaque tights or a leather jacket over it, or just a pair of sandals, bare legs and off you go!!

Its such a staple all rounder to have in the wardrobe and god knows I've a couple of these type dresses.

Pop a pair of heels or converse and this piece looks great, throw a belt on over them..its just a great piece. I find they are so handy to pack too if your heading for a weekend away!

Communion or confirmation outfit ideas

Communion and Confirmation is tricky for outfits, as even though the day is all about your child, you still want to look nice for your child's big day, not to mention the photos that will be there long after the day is over!!

For me, I think its important to look dressy, yet not look too "over the top". Its also good to purchase something that you will wear again. Whether its a coat you can wear time and time again, a top/skirt/trousers for a night out or dinner, something you can pull out of the wardrobe for another event.

Not only that, you want a look that is Elegant, Classy and demur!
