The dotty lemon.. Cute gifts & accessories particularly for Valentines

So as you know we had a lovely Cloggers afternoon tea event last week in Cork. During the event there was a few stands displaying some fabulous products, one particular stand caught my eye..I love little boutiques that stock cute unique pieces, I find they are hard come by these days so when I spotted the Dotty Lemon I had to go say hi.

The Dotty Lemon is the brain child of Aisling and is based in Mallow. Its stocks gorgeous girly bits and pieces, all unique along with Diaries, notebooks, inspiring jewellery to cute cards.

It's got all kinds of fabulous stock and I fell in love, I thought too that some of the products are definitely Valentine gift worthy and definitely the love is all around necklace is going on my wishlist and passed onto my hubbie.

What's in my shopping basket? Wishlist

Hey my lovelies

So was just doing a spot of browsing/shopping online for "Others..my other half siblings etc" and mid shopping I just realised I never did a "What's in my basket" for this month. It also dawned on me, that I have the most expensive taste, actually I lie, I've always had expensive taste, just not a big enough bank account...

So I was trigger happy with the add/buy button on all websites...(actually the majority are below)...its so much fun pretending you're loaded and adding the most ridiculously expensive clothes/shoes/jewellery into a basket. (I went a bit easy with this post as I don't think anyone could afford something in their €1000's..well me anyway)..in fact the quote below sums it up nicely..my better half throws confused looks across my way when I erupt in laughter at spontaneous moments..I think he thinks I'm gone mad..he'd definitely think it, if he saw the total price totted up in my online shopping basket!

So on that note lets get started...(excited tone) this is so much fun! I love doing this type of post...

I'm a magpie seriously love all things sparkly, even my wedding dress had sparkle in it, I remember asking my mother when I tried it on did I look like a Christmas tree haha!! Can never resist Jewellery particularly Michael Kors.I used to own a piece a long time ago but I had the misfortune of breaking my lovely Michael Kors Bracelet and watching the balls scatter all across Dunnes Stores floor! Wasn't pretty, having said that it was an elastic flimsy type band with balls on it and the MK disc(expensive mind!) so maybe avoid that type of bracelet as the elastic wears very easily! Ah Zara, every month they kill my bank account, love everything from this place..so reasonable too, although as you add to your basket its amazing how quickly the total becomes hundreds! I always want everything! Love all the collars in River Island, they are super handy and avoid bulkiness of shirts under jumpers, this tie one I love, €17 find it here.  And finally another bit of sparkle This top is €55 and available here.

I love Topshop, there's always great pieces available, My favourite at the moment is this dress |Top left, I don't know where id wear it but it is fab, pricey at €220 find it here, next to it is an embroidered dress, gorge too, pricey at €170 but it is a wishlist after all, find it here, Love this "two in one" velvet playsuit find it instore and online here. Bottom left to right; Love a good clutch and this embellished one is €68 and available here, comes in gold too. Next up the cream top with golf sequins and tassels €52, available here. 

Couldn't leave my favourite boutique out ...From top to right; absolutely lusting after this coat..I have enough coats but this one sure is unique. Love the feathered embellishment, see top pics.. Its €129 and available here, centre pic is some belts available from Folkster, love these as they would dress up any plain dress or skirt always a handy one to have in the wardrobe, these are bridal but don't think it matters ranging from €29-€49 plus. I love pretty romantic dresses and these two are my favourites, the dress on the left is from Paper Dolls, Cork its €395 (pic compliments to Blogger Marie from The Beautmum) and the second dress is from Asos, love Tulle and lace together €88.24 and selling out fast , find it here. 

A Brown Thomas splurge has to be done...It is a wishlist after all..now there was plenty of dresses I would only love from here mainly in their thousands but I will never have the cash to spend that kind of money on a dress...so although its a splurge list above, its not too bad really considering what I could buy haha! Yes I have expensive taste, my biggest downfall, but its nice to pretend Ive lots of money and spend hours of fun and pure entertainment adding ridiculously expensive items to my basket

And after all that adding to shopping baskets ..Ill be doing a lot of this next week!!!

Christmas gift ideas for her

  Lets admit it the time has come!...and every year without fail there's Christmas pandemonium and chaos!

I know in our household, we have a kris Kindle with our Siblings...every time someone gets my name, there is a trail of "what's app" messages slagging the poor unfortunate that has been bestowed my namesake! So here's my problem with this No 1. its not much of a kris kindle if we all know who we're getting .:-) .think we mislead the whole meaning of KK somewhere down the line in the early years!! And No 2 why in gods name is it so hard to buy for me?? I'm easy I love everything.!!!

It got me thinking what do you get someone (a girl in this case) who has everything (no I don't have everything ha!)

I've pulled together a list of things that possibly every girly female likes getting...trust me it never fails!! My favourite gifts  I remember receiving for Christmas (Benefit makeup sets, Jo Malone gift set.. & slippers (I never have slippers!!) were gifts I wouldn't necessarily buy myself but would absolutely love, Its luxury gifts that I like but would never buy as I have more other pressing items I have to get, like work clothes or something Id need for every day use...so here's a list that might help any sibling or any man out there who literally does not have a clue what to buy his better half.

The majority of these gifts range mainly from €50-60 and a good few are less than this, I've also thrown in a small few more expensive items in case anyone is feeling particularly generous.

I absolutely love these bracelets, loads of different ones with lots of different meanings. I have two of these and wear them to death. In my opinion you can never have enough of these bracelets!

This is another gift idea that I love but would never buy any of these for myself..notebooks, diaries and travel holder documentation, I spotted the top left one "Life can be beautiful" in the Kilkenny shop Its by Disaster Designs and they make gorgeous other gifts apart from this....look at the inside the travel document wallet, it was beautiful and in my opinion a gorgeous gift to receive. Its €42.92 and available here. Again any girl I know cannot have enough makeup bags I for one don't have enough. My sister Jill on the other hand has an enormous amount of wash bags/Make up bags for all her lotions and potions and I do be envious of her. For me its always lovely to get a fashion type book/ autobiography or a coffee table fashion book. I've a nice little collection, here's some books that I spotted and handy for a Christmas present..love her or hate her Caroline Flack has an autobiography Storm in a tea cup €21 which is becoming a sell out. Millie Mackintosh has brought out a lifestyle book too called Made,€22.99 Obviously the other two books are more for a girl crazy about fashion, but you can get any sort of book as a Christmas present ..these are just a sample of fashion books available from a number of fashion houses, and the bottom left is the "Whowhatwear" by Hilary Kerr €16.50.

Stella and Dot...

Love this brand and their jewellery ..I spend lots of hours lusting after these pieces and they are beautiful. We all love random bits and bobs ...these are my favourite..first up Family Organiser or organiser if you don't necessarily have more than one person to organise! This is a god send in our house..my sister bought me one, one year and now I buy them for myself if I don't get it as a Christmas present. My hubby travels a lot and this is one way we can keep on top of every date birthday, trips etc and obviously important school dates! I love this one as it has a shopping list pad and note pads. I use them all the time! Great gift for anyone who has kids!  Next up a coffee travel mug!! Need a 100 cups of coffee a day especially when Im on the go ..this ones from Penneys is €3.50. Oh and what girl doesn't need a portable phone charger..these chargers come in the shape of lippy and and blush compact holder. The lippy charger is priced at  €34.99 and the blush compact is €39.99 and you can buy them here.
