Wedding fever ...calls for Wedding guest outfits

Hope you're all having a super week, so wedding season/fever is upon us and that calls for a panic/frenzy about what to wear!! Even if you don't have a wedding coming up most of you may have a races event..so definitely a nice occasion dress is always a must have in the wardrobe!

Some gorgeous ones out there at the moment and here's a few that caught my eye

Love this bardot floral number, its very flattering too, with the shape of the dress. I've paired it with understated accessories, such as silver heels & clutch as the dress itself has vibrant colours running through it. You can also pair this with a pink one strap sandal (New look has this) and keep the clutch plain silver as pink heels and a pink clutch might be a little over powering! Loving this little number I'm a magpie when it comes to embellishments, this one is Frock and Frill so a little more expensive but I love the layers on it, not only is it suitable for a wedding its perfect for a special night out. I love the playfulness of this little dress, I know you can also buy similar skirts and tops and pair them together but this is an all in one dress, click on the link for a better look as the floral detail on the hem and neckline isnt showing in this picture and its fab. A jumpsuit is always a lovely alternative and because its summer I went with a brighter floral colour this is fab and can certainly be worn to a wedding, click on the link for a better pic its beautiful and if you like to take risks and wear something different, this is definitely one for you, its €67.50 and available here, I've paired it with Rose gold one strap heels which you'll find for €39.44 available here, Envelope bag Dorothy perkins for €24 sold out online but available in store. My favourite of all the dresses love the girlishness of this dress its so pretty. What I love even more is the price of this dress, at €87.23 you can find it here, heels €29.58 available here. Clutch bag Dorothy Perkins €35.

This Dress is quiet simple and classic, its a great number to have as you can pull any colour from the dress and accessorize it, I paired it with navy heels and a powder blue bag, personally I find matching a coloured bag to same colour heels can be too matchy matchy unless its a neutral colour, but that's just me. Some people prefer not showing their legs and rather long dresses, this one above is lovely and flowy and I love the two tone colours, aren't the heels fab too?? Shirt dresses... Dressy or casual looks for any occasion

So its that season again and its spring/summer and in between seasons, and what better reason to wear a shirt dress. Its versatile and easy to dress up or down, throw on opaque tights or a leather jacket over it, or just a pair of sandals, bare legs and off you go!!

Its such a staple all rounder to have in the wardrobe and god knows I've a couple of these type dresses.

Pop a pair of heels or converse and this piece looks great, throw a belt on over them..its just a great piece. I find they are so handy to pack too if your heading for a weekend away!

Communion or confirmation outfit ideas

Communion and Confirmation is tricky for outfits, as even though the day is all about your child, you still want to look nice for your child's big day, not to mention the photos that will be there long after the day is over!!

For me, I think its important to look dressy, yet not look too "over the top". Its also good to purchase something that you will wear again. Whether its a coat you can wear time and time again, a top/skirt/trousers for a night out or dinner, something you can pull out of the wardrobe for another event.

Not only that, you want a look that is Elegant, Classy and demur!

Girls this dress in the picture does not do it justice, I've seen this in person and the colours are divine, its a gorgeous dress and you don't necessary have to wear a white blazer with it, but you could wear a blush pink/beige or navy blazer/coat with it, its beautiful.. So who doesn't love Penneys?? Us Irish ladies cant get enough of it. Who goes in there, with the intention of getting one item only, and comes out with Bags full.??..I guarantee everyone of you reading this post right now has done this!!The temptation is too much .. What are we like??

Well our favourite store, has only gone and launched their spring collection and their look book is amazing..they really are on fire this season. This morning I received more looks from them and had to share them with you.

Their womenswear this spring embodies a natural, lived in confidence. The denim is diverse, the prints are plentiful and their palette is a rich range to suit all complexions

Their spring look is all about primary colours in retro brights such as sunshine yellow, scarlet red, and vintage blue, all toned down with grey marl. There's vintage style, crew neck raglan tees emblazoned with cheeky slogans and denim is in abundance. Oversized shapes on denim cut-offs, yet the classic flare jean and button through A-line skirt remains characteristic. Wearable cover-ups come in the form of the suede jacket and the sleeveless leather biker, printed cropped flute flares Accessories come in the form of gigantic sunnies and oversized gold hoop earrings.

Other pieces have an eclectic, ethnic girl feel with a nomadic festival spirit. Key colour combos such as marigold, chilli red, paired with moss green emerge from this trend, while black accents and sandy beige complete the look. Tassels, fringing and embroidered pocket detailing on jacquard jackets.Festival ready pieces like the classic khaki jacket take a new lightweight, cropped shape. The current trend the Striped comes in the form of palazzos that are paired with cropped crochet bralets .  

 On denim dresses, rope detailing at the neckline gives a nod to the new-age nautical while denim on denim remains strong on their look book for Spring. The chevron mini, stripe shirt dress and pinstripe pinafores are all standout pieces for this seas.on in Penneys
