My Style: Bohemian chic ..this dress was under €20!

Hey Girls
Happy wednesday..So here's another one from my wardrobe for you. I love easy dresses, the kind of dress that you can literally throw on and head out the door, no fuss!
And I especially love dresses you can dress down or up with just a change of a shoe!
I have a thing for comfy dresses, the bohemian kind, the ones that are little bit unusual (but in a good way) and look like they are easy to wear. When I first saw this dress at +Athlone Towncentre Shopping Centre  I loved it..I didn't look at the price tag, it was the embroidered print and the nice shirt type material that caught my eye. Its so "my style" too so when I did peep that it was on sale +H&M for €15, there was no question I was getting it! There is still a small few available but its sold out online.(Other similar dresses are here here, and here.)
As you can see it has an embroidered design on the top part of the dress, almost Aztec print. The material is an outer shell material (Shirt material) and is just so easy to wear, its a light fabric and feels airy!
Its dipped at the back and slightly shorter at the front, a style I'm loving at the moment.
It has a drop waist so lots of room to hide any misgivings, its also perfect if you are just a few months pregnant (which can be an awkward stage to get any clothes, as regular clothes are too tight and maternity clothes just too loose) it has lots of room for a tiny bump or hiding anything you want hiding like me ha.
I paired this dress with heels as opposed to flats or wedges, I do have flats and wedges to match but I just liked high heels with this dress, its definitely a dress I'll be wearing for a girly lunch without the kiddies or midweek evening dinner/drinks.The heels I picked up a few months back but they are still available here along with my YSL bag my hubbie got for me..Im a lucky girl I know!
A Closer look at the bag...
And a better look at the heels
And of course who doesn't have a few @Alex&AniIreland bracelets, I've three actually but working on getting more .. I love them and the meanings behind them. They are also made of sustainable products which is an added bonus.

Hope you liked this look as much as I had fun shooting it...again thanks to the fabulous @thetwodarlings and @leanmeanmomma for fun and photos,,with a little bit of babysitting thrown in
Until next time girls
Have a lovely weekend

Blazer alert! & accessories that transform an outfit

Hey my lovelies
Blazers, a girl should as many hanging in their wardrobe as humanly possible..they are so practical and go with almost every outfit!
A statement neck lace is another piece that you should have as 'must have'  accessory.
I previewed this blazer on the blog before, for those who missed it,  this ones penneys
It was €23 and still in stock.
It goes with all types of colours and clothing and I literally have worn it to death.
Most blazers we tend to wear with casual outfits and its amazing what adding a statement neck piece can do to completely transform an outfit.
Pic:Emer +Irish Fashaholic
This Statement neckpiece I bought sometime ago from a lovely lady Emma from The Jewel Genie, it is just beautiful and gives any outfit a little lift.
Pic: Emer +Irish Fashaholic
The Blazer is worn with Tapered Trousers from River Island, but I've also worn this blazer with a tulle skirt and cami, or leather trousers, and it looks fabulous with jeans.
River Island Trousers available here, Tshirt: Penneys €9, Blazer Penneys €23, still in stock, similar available here, Shoes Carvela here. Sunglasses Parfois.

Following on from this post, I will pull together some looks for you, to demonstrate just how easy it is to use one blazer for numerous items of clothing in your wardrobe and pull a completely different outfit together using the same blazer over and over.

Until next time my lovelies
Have a great weekend

My Style, My way..Black and white Staple pieces

Hey Ladies
Happy Tuesday, so I mentioned a while back on my facebook page, that I was changing my blog posts up a little. I'm quiet good at pulling looks together for blog posts but have never actually shared any looks of myself wearing things...I promised this year that I was going to start sharing my style with you guys. And not one to break a promise, here is my first ever shoot for you.

Saturday I met with fellow blogger & Fashion Photographer Emer from Irishfashaholic, along with my friend and blogger Eimear from The Two Darlings, to collaborate together. (Stay tuned later to see what we collaborated on!)
We had so much fun working together and Emer has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to fashion, along with a fantastic eye for photography.
I was apprehensive about doing this photo shoot but she put me right at ease and helped me relax in front of the camera!
I kept the look simple...Classic Black & White staple pieces.
Jacket: Penneys (still in stock) similar here, Tank Top: Only Ireland available here
Tapered Trousers: River Island available here

Everyone needs a staple piece in their wardrobes, and Blazers,  Black trousers along with a cami/black top should be the main things hanging in it...why you ask?? Because you can build a wardrobe around a staple piece...But I will follow up more on how to do this in a future post!
If your going with staple pieces, its nice to keep everything  classy, and simple.
Bag: Gift from Hubbie,
Shoes: Carvela here and here
Close up of the Trousers and Blazer
I kept the accessories simple and wore a small delicate chain necklace
Karma Necklace: My shining Armour available here
(All photography by Emer @Irishfashaholic)

I hope you like this post as much as I did working on this project, stay tuned for more looks I will pull together that incorporates your classic staple pieces, essential to any wardrobe as they never date!

And don't forget to let me know what you think of the look above?
Until next time

Communion or confirmation outfit ideas

 Hey Ladies
So I had a lot of private messages from you guys looking for this post.
Communion and Confirmation is tricky for outfits, as even though the day is all about your child, you still want to look nice for your child's big day, not to mention the photos that will be there long after the day is over!!
For me, I think its important to look dressy, yet not look too "over the top". Its also good to purchase something that you will wear again. Whether its a coat you can wear time and time again, a top/skirt/trousers for a night out or dinner, something you can pull out of the wardrobe for another event.
Not only that, you want a look that is Elegant, Classy and demur!
I love this look, the blush colour is always romantic I think and soft, the nude and white coat is lavish Alice one of my favourite labels its €115.08 and you can purchase here, Nude heels are Littlewoods, €24.99 available here, Top as before Chicwish, €36.29, available here, beige leather skirt €29.95 from Zara here .
Black and White is always a good combo, this look is chic, Tailored and elegant, and something you will wear again ...The Cape is Lavish Alice and €74.14 available here, Tailored Jumpsuit is  Asos €70.42, available here, Patent black heels €60 available at River Island in stores and here.
Again more blush pinks, only as this colour is huge for spring/summer, dress is available in Love Cherish Boutique here or here  €80.60, Zara White Frock Coat €59.95 available here & strappy sandals €49.95 available here

Girls this dress in the picture does not do it justice, I've seen this in person and the colours are divine, its a gorgeous dress and you don't necessary have to wear a white blazer with it, but you could wear a blush pink/beige or navy blazer/coat with it, its beautiful.. I just kept the colours neutral as the dress is colourful. Dress & Heels are both Zara. Dress is €49.95 here Sand wrap around sandals €49.95 available here (Navy heels would go with this too!). White cape €76.05 available here, navy version too here.
Again another dress from Zara (they really have some fab dressy stuff at the moment) its fab on and is €59.95 available here, Coat €89.95 and Bag €39.95 are Zara here & here. Shoes River Island €87 here

Blush dresses are everywhere this one is fab from Zara along with the coat and the dress is €59.95 available here. Coat €79.95 available here, Bag River Island €25 available here, New Look strappy heels €49.95 available in store and here.
For those who would like something unusual but yet still classy, this tailored cape Jumpsuit from Lavish Alive is beautiful €74.34 and available here, Bag is New Look €14.99 available here, Strappy heels €55 available in store and here
Another simple look and quiet striking, all it would need is a little black blazer thrown over it...Lace blouse is Zara €29.95 available here, River Island Fringe Stiletto Heels €77 here, Fold over Cream bag €15 Asos.com, Skirt River Island here

Still sticking with monochrome and navy & white...I popped this jacket on my facebook page the other day and I love it, its so nice on and I loved the ruched sleeves, its from River Island €80 available in store and here, navy leather block skirt €43 available here, Navy heels Zara €49.95 available in store and here, White Camisole River Island €22 available here.
This dress has to be my ultimate favourite I absolutely love it...its available at Love Cherish Boutique details here and Bella Dungarvan contact details here, It is so demur and just gorgeous, Shoes are from Littlewoods €24.99 as before and the clutch is €28.13 available from Asos here
Like this colour palette outfit white and grey this dress is quiet cute...Dress is from €80.60 available here, Long white blazer €69.95 from Zara available in store or online here. Grey strappy heels New Look €29.99 available here.
Both these dresses are Little Mistress and are €83.60, you can purchase these here and here. New Look strapy heels €44.99 available here. Silver heels New Look available in store and here reduced to €17 so grab a bargain quick.
Love this dress..its from Verso and available here €89, This is gorgeous and a black blazer over it would be perfect too...

So the lovely ladies who had requested this post I hope this helps you and you are armed with an idea of what to wear...either way have a ball and enjoy the day, you ll look fabulous!
More posts during the week
